I am pleased to announce the arrival of Cecelia Paolucci as Director, Major Gifts and Campaign at FitSpirit.
Working closely with the Director, Philanthropic Development, and with the support of the fundraising cabinet of volunteers in the Toronto area, Cecelia will lead the major gift and partnership fundraising in Ontario, as a component of the FitSpirit national fundraising strategy.
Cecelia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Athabasca University and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Schulich School of Business - York University. Her experience includes a unique blend of corporate and not-for-profit work, in both fundraising and leadership roles. From corporate to individual to major gift campaigns, she has built and scaled up programs, consistently demonstrating results in maintaining and upgrading donors as well as prospecting and cultivation. Most recently, she was a Consultant for Community Food Centres Canada (CFCC) to help build fundraising capacity in their new food centres across Canada. Prior to CFCC, she worked with United Way of Peel Region, leading the revenue development, marketing, communications and IT teams in their $10 million annual campaign.
Cecelia is recognized for being an excellent relationship builder who can work effectively with people at all levels. Her extensive experience in fundraising as well as her positive/dynamic attitude will be a valuable asset in enriching the donor experience and increase their connection with the organization.
I am very happy that she has accepted this new professional challenge with FitSpirit.
Please join me in wishing Cecelia a warm welcome!
