FitSpirit in ACTION!

Following the school speaking engagements, the girls are then presented with the FitClub challenge.

Tailor-made for adolescent girls, this running program is built on the idea of doing 90 minutes of physical activity per week for a total of 8 weeks. At least 30 of these 90 minutes are dedicated to group training exclusively with girls, supervised by the teacher in charge of FitClub at each school. The girls also have the chance to attend different workshops given by a kinesiologist, a nutritionist, an athlete and FitSpirit mentors.

The challenge is capped off by a 5K run which brings together girls from all the schools in the same region. It’s a fantastic celebration where the buzz words are encouragement, fun and self-confidence!
